WildernessManiacSafaris is not a typical safari company. We are very small, consisting just of two friends, who decided to make their own “thing“. For us, making your experience unforgettable is priority number one. Best case we end up with new friends somewhere around the globe. This is how we want to work.
Florid is 38 years old, originally from Arusha and grew up in one of the National Parks as a member of the indigenous tribe, the Maasai. Florid is a safari guide with his whole heart and soul and looks back to more than 10 years of experience. He loves the nature and experiences every safari as it would be his first one.
David is 28 and originally from Austria. A year back he was travelling in Africa and totally fell in love with Tanzania. On a safari he met Florid and both became friends, shared their stories, food and beer - the beginning of their future connection. How life writes its stories both of them never lost contact and decided to found their own company.
OUR VISION
At WildernessManiacSafaris we are dedicated to make your stay a “once in a lifetime” – story. We want you, looking back to this experience in 15 years, with the following thoughts in your head: “this was one of the best things I did in my life”. We do not see you just as a customer, we see you as a friend for whom we are planning a trip to Tanzania. We want to get to know you in order to provide you the best service possible. At WildernessManiacSafaris our goal is not just to offer you a safari, we want to create cross-cultural awareness and understanding. Our main objectives are that you learn about people, culture and wildlife in Tanzania and of course last but not least that you fully enjoy your holidays.
